What does Premium Wood Build’s warranty cover?
Our warranty covers all workmanship-related issues for two years. This includes construction errors, improper installation, and any structural or functional issues caused by how the work was done.
How long does the workmanship warranty last?
The warranty lasts 10 years from the date the project is completed.
Are materials and products included in this warranty?
No. Materials and products are covered by their own manufacturer warranties, which are separate from our workmanship guarantee.
What if a material defect causes a problem in the project?
Contact us right away with details and photos if possible. We’ll schedule an inspection and let you know if it’s covered under warranty.
What should I do if I notice a problem after the project is done?
Just contact us. We’ll review the issue and, if it’s covered under the warranty, we’ll handle the repair—quickly and professionally.
What types of issues are not covered by the warranty?
We don’t cover damage from extreme weather, misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, soil movement, or lack of maintenance. Those issues fall outside our workmanship coverage.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home or property?
No. The warranty is valid only for the original client who hired us and signed the agreement. It is not transferable to new property owners.
What kind of maintenance do I need to do to keep the warranty valid?
Basic maintenance like cleaning, sealing (if applicable), and checking for visible damage should be done regularly. Failure to maintain the work could void the warranty for that part of the project.
Can I make repairs myself and still keep the warranty?
No. Any unauthorized repairs or modifications made by you or another contractor may void the warranty. Always contact us first if there’s an issue.
